A&N Safety Consultants were pleased to support the Introduction to Construction Day at Middlesbrough College, where a fantastic group of enthusiastic primary school children enjoyed an inspiring and interactive experience exploring the world of construction.

The day introduced pupils to the wide range of careers available within the construction industry before they took part in an exciting Construction LEGO Challenge. Working together in teams, the children demonstrated outstanding creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills, culminating in confident and imaginative presentations of their projects.

Introducing children to STEM and construction at an early age is vital in helping to broaden their horizons, inspire future career aspirations, and develop valuable life skills, including teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication.

The event was made possible thanks to the dedication of the NAWIC North East and Tees Valley Committee Members, who generously volunteer their time to create opportunities that inspire the next generation. We would also like to thank the Future Female Leader students, who gave up their day off to help support and encourage the children throughout the event.
