We were absolutely delighted to help kick off Year 3 of the Future Female Leaders (FFL) programme with an exciting start at Middlesbrough College. The new cohort of students began their journey with a site visit to the Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Waterfront project – and what an inspiring way to set the tone for the year ahead!

A huge shout-out goes to the Esh Group site team, who welcomed the students and gave them a true glimpse of what life is like on a live construction project. These kinds of experiences are priceless and leave a lasting impression.

What really stood out on the day was the energy, curiosity, and ambition of the young women taking part. Their enthusiasm is exactly why programmes like FFL are so important. They’re not just learning about the construction industry – they’re building confidence, discovering opportunities, and shaping their path as the future leaders our industry needs.
